The parts that decide the timeline are the same wherever you land: the chart of accounts, the general ledger, the customer and supplier master, open purchase orders and sales orders, opening balances and payroll history, and how much history you export out of the old system and import into the new one, rather than leave behind in a readable archive. Hosted files, local files and vendor exports each come out differently.
