Client and site data migration
Clients, sites, assets, contacts and relationship notes, all migrated to simPRO so your team has full context from day one.
Historical job data, quotes and invoicing history are transferred where supported.
ServiceM8 to Simpro migration services delivered end to end for Australian field-service teams, from a single-office cutover to a multi-site servicem8 to simpro data migration with asset registers, forms, and Xero rebuilt on Simpro.
Built here. Your data stays here.
Three stages. No surprises. Your live ServiceM8 data stays untouched until cutover, delivered personally by the founder.
Week 0
15-minute scoping call. We map your ServiceM8 setup, the data structure that needs to translate to Simpro, and the cleanup decisions to make on the way. Fixed-price quote inside 48 hours.
Weeks 1–N
Full migration run in a sandbox first. Both systems then run in parallel for two weeks, every record, transaction and report cross-checked. No risk to live operations.
Cutover
Production cutover on a planned window, typically a weekend. Team training, monitoring active, 30 days post-launch support. ServiceM8 safely retired with full history preserved.
Every migration project starts from a set of concrete data on the source platform and ends with the same data, cleaned and validated, on the target. Here is the shape of that move.
Where your data lives today, in ServiceM8.
The same data, cleaned and validated, in simPRO, ready for day one.
What actually comes across
Moving the balances is the easy part. The work is the history: the invoices still open, the codes that do not exist in simPRO, the attachments nobody wants to lose, and the customer records that have drifted over years. All of it has to arrive reconciled, not approximately.
What has to move
Codes mapped to their simPRO equivalents, records deduplicated on rules you approve, then both systems run side by side until the balances agree. Cutover happens on a window you choose.

Every servicem8 to simpro data migration is different. Here is what we typically cover when you migrate ServiceM8 to Simpro with us.
Clients, sites, assets, contacts and relationship notes, all migrated to simPRO so your team has full context from day one.
Historical job data, quotes and invoicing history are transferred where supported.
Active and completed jobs, including job notes, photos, checklists and time entries, moved to simPRO with references intact.
Job templates and workflow stages are rebuilt to match your operational process.
Job photos, site documents, signed forms and compliance certificates, transferred to simPRO attached to the correct records.
Templates for quotes, invoices and reports are recreated in the new system.
Accounting, inventory, supplier and scheduling integrations connected to ServiceM8 are rebuilt on simPRO.
The goal is that your field team and office staff see no operational gap.
Price moves with client and site volume, job and asset history, form and document migration, connected systems, and how much simPRO workflow setup is needed before cutover. Here is how we scope it.
Tell us what you are running in ServiceM8, what must survive in simPRO, and which jobs, assets, workflows, or reporting rules cannot break. We will tell you whether it fits one fixed-price migration or needs phased delivery.
Once data volume, asset and workflow mapping, integration reconnection, and cutover risk are clear, you get fixed-price scope covering cleansing, migration, validation, and go-live. No open-ended estimates.
If the move includes heavy history, pricing rules, forms, or connected systems, we can split it into core operational data first, then history, then integrations. Each phase has its own price and sign-off.
Why HELLO PEOPLE

A Perth-based services group with 60+ staff moved off their legacy accounting stack to a modern cloud platform, taking multiple entities across in one coordinated cut. Chart of accounts consolidated, payroll continuity preserved through cutover, and BAS lodgement continued on time.
Read the full case studyWe had been putting off the switch for over a year. They made it painless, scoped it clearly, migrated everything, and our team was up and running in simPRO within weeks. The data was cleaner than it had been in years.
A structured process so you know what is happening at each stage. No ambiguity, no surprises.
We audit data quality, volume, complexity and connected integrations. You get a clear scope and a fixed price before anything starts.
Duplicates merged, dead records removed, formats standardised. Your data is cleaned in ServiceM8 before anything moves.
simPRO is set up to match your business, accounts, custom fields, user roles, tax settings. No generic template.
Clients, jobs, assets, sites, documents, workflow templates, pricing rules and historical job data, extracted, transformed and loaded into simPRO. Validated against the source at every step.
Balances checked. Reports compared. Edge cases tested. Your team reviews the data in simPRO before we go anywhere near production.
We cut over at the right moment and stay close for the first month. ServiceM8 stays accessible as a reference until you are confident.
Depends on job volume, client and site count, asset registers, form and photo history, and how much Simpro workflow setup is needed before cutover. We scope your ServiceM8 setup first, then quote fixed price before any work starts.
About 3 to 6 weeks for most Australian field-service teams. Single-office electrical or plumbing crews finish faster. Multi-site setups with heavy asset history sit at the longer end.

Yes. Recurring service contracts, maintenance plans, catalogue items, price lists, and progress claim workflows all rebuild in Simpro. Nothing gets lost between the two platforms.
Where people go after ServiceM8 varies, and we scope the move to whichever system you have chosen: Xero, MYOB AccountRight, MYOB Business, MYOB Acumatica, QuickBooks Online, Reckon, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Sage 50, Sage 300, Sage Intacct, Odoo, Zoho Books, FreshBooks, Saasu, SAP Business One, Oracle and Workday. If the one you have picked is a poor fit for how you actually work, we will say so before you have paid for a conversion into it.
The parts that decide the timeline are the same wherever you land: the chart of accounts, the general ledger, the customer and supplier master, open purchase orders and sales orders, opening balances and payroll history, and how much history you export out of the old system and import into the new one, rather than leave behind in a readable archive. Hosted files, local files and vendor exports each come out differently.
If you are looking because ServiceM8 is too old, out of support or reaching end of life, that is a question of timing rather than whether. It is worth comparing the alternatives and moving away on your own schedule rather than on the one the vendor picks for you.
