TechnologyOne Support & Integration
for Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane organisations.
TechnologyOne runs finance, payroll, property and student management for a large part of Australian local government, education and health. It is a capable platform and it is not going anywhere. What it does not do is everything the organisation around it needs.
- Independent Not a reseller, no licence commission
- 18+ yrs Building business software
- Fixed Price scopes, no surprises
- AU-wide Perth-based, servicing Australia
We work around TechnologyOne, not against it
Your TechnologyOne project, end to end
Three stages. Scoped and fixed-price before anything starts, delivered by the founder, and your live system stays untouched until cutover.
-
Week 0
Scope and inventory
We establish what connects to TechnologyOne, what it moves and who depends on it. You get a written inventory and a fixed price before any build starts.
-
Weeks 1-N
Build and parallel run
New integrations and reporting run alongside the existing ones until the numbers reconcile. Nothing is switched off on trust.
-
Cutover
Go live and hand over
Cutover on a window you choose, then thirty days of support. Source code, documentation and credentials are handed over in your name.
What the work actually is
TechnologyOne holds the record. The organisation runs on more than that.
Finance, payroll, property and student data sit inside TechnologyOne. The service requests, the field work, the public-facing forms and the reporting everyone actually opens sit somewhere else. Keeping those in step is the work, and it is the part that breaks first during a Ci Anywhere migration.
What you already run
- TechnologyOne
- Reporting and BI
- Public-facing forms
- Field and mobile apps
- Third-party systems
The integration and reporting layer
API-based connections in place of direct SQL reads and overnight file drops, a reporting pipeline that survives an upgrade, and companion applications for the processes the platform does not cover.
See how a project runsWhat you get
- Integrations that survive a version upgrade instead of breaking on it
- Reporting drawn from a supported interface, not a database nobody should be querying
- Processes the platform cannot cover, handled properly rather than in a spreadsheet
The five pieces of TechnologyOne work we are asked for
Every engagement is some combination of these. Most start with the first.
Integration modernisation
Direct SQL reads and overnight file drops replaced with API-based connections that survive a version change.
Reporting and dashboards
Reporting drawn through a supported interface, reconciled against the source, and rebuilt so an upgrade does not take it with it.
Companion applications
Portals, mobile tools and small applications for the processes Ci Anywhere does not cover, writing back through supported APIs.
Data extraction and validation
Extract, transform and validate for a migration, with reconciliation before anything is switched off.
Independent assessment
A written view of what a move would require and what it would leave behind, from someone with no licence revenue at stake.
How it runs today
The upgrade is scheduled and nobody knows what will break
- Integrations read the database directly, so a version change is a gamble
- Reports were built against tables that the vendor is free to change
- Nobody has a full list of what connects to the system
- Processes the platform cannot handle live in spreadsheets and email
After
You know what connects, and it keeps working
- Connections use supported APIs, so upgrades stop being an event
- One documented inventory of every integration and what it moves
- Reporting that reconciles to the source and survives the migration
- The gap processes rebuilt as small applications your team owns
Scoped and quoted before you commit. You own the code, the documentation and the credentials at the end of it.

Do you replace TechnologyOne?
No. It is a substantial platform doing a job it does well, and for most councils and institutions replacing it is neither realistic nor desirable. We work around it: integration, reporting, data and the applications that cover what it does not.
Are you a TechnologyOne partner?
No, and that is deliberate. We are independent, which means we have no incentive to recommend more licences or a bigger implementation. If the honest answer is that the platform already does what you need, we will tell you.
Can you help with a Ci Anywhere migration?
We support the parts around it: extracting and validating data, rebuilding integrations against the API rather than the database, and reproducing the reporting that would otherwise be lost. The platform migration itself stays with your vendor or implementation partner.
Our reports read straight from the database. Is that a problem?
It works until it does not. Direct reads depend on a schema the vendor can change in any release, which is why reporting so often breaks at upgrade. Moving to a supported interface is usually the highest-value change we make.
We are a council. Do you understand our constraints?
Procurement, records obligations and the reality that ratepayers see the result. We scope and quote fixed-price before anything starts, and you own the code and documentation at the end so the next provider is not locked out.
