The Challenge

A popular Perth cafe chain with three locations was heavily reliant on third-party delivery platforms (Uber Eats, Menulog) for online orders. Commission fees of 30-35% on every order were destroying margins on delivery and pickup orders. The business had no direct relationship with online customers, and couldn't access customer data for marketing purposes. Peak-hour orders through multiple platforms caused kitchen chaos, with staff juggling tablets from different providers and no integration with their Square POS system.

The Solution

We developed a custom direct ordering platform - web application and native mobile apps - that plugs straight into their existing Square POS. Orders flow directly into the kitchen workflow without additional tablets or manual entry. The platform includes customer accounts with order history, favourites, and a loyalty rewards program. Built-in marketing tools enable targeted promotions and push notifications to drive repeat orders, while comprehensive analytics provide insights into customer behaviour and menu performance.
