The Challenge
A business group running six companies across hospitality, property, and services had each entity on separate Xero organisations. The CFO spent the first week of every month manually exporting from each Xero account, consolidating in Excel, and building reports for the directors. Intercompany transactions made it even more painful. The directors wanted to see how the group was performing weekly, but the finance team simply could not produce reports fast enough. Cash flow across the group was a constant worry because nobody had a consolidated view.
The Solution
We built a financial reporting dashboard that connects to all six Xero organisations via API. The CFO and directors see consolidated P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and aged receivables — updated daily. Each entity can be viewed individually or as a group. Intercompany transactions are flagged automatically. Automated reports land in directors' inboxes every Monday morning. Budget vs actual tracking highlights variances before they become problems.
