Six Dynamics 365 integration capabilities
From the D365 Sales ↔ Xero invoice flow that lands the right GL postings, through the Power Automate replacement that ships as proper code and version-controls cleanly, to the multi-tenant data-residency-aware integration the global parent's architects sign off on — all packaged as managed solutions.

Dynamics 365 Sales / CE
Dynamics 365 Sales (Customer Engagement) integrated with your back-office. Lead → Opportunity → Order → Invoice flow into Xero, MYOB, NetSuite or Business Central. Account hierarchy and parent-child opportunity tracking preserved correctly.

Dynamics 365 Business Central
Dynamics 365 BC (the ERP, formerly NAV) connected to e-commerce (Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce), inventory (Cin7, Unleashed), CRM (D365 Sales, HubSpot, Salesforce), payments and third-party AU systems. Posting groups + dimensions handled correctly.

D365 ↔ Power Platform
Dynamics 365 ↔ Power BI (datasets, embedded), Power Automate (flows), Power Apps (canvas + model-driven apps), Dataverse. We build the right thing for each layer — not "everything in Power Automate" which gets unmaintainable fast.
- Power BI datasets & embedded
- Power Automate flows
- Power Apps · Dataverse

D365 ↔ Microsoft 365
D365 integrated with Outlook (calendar + email tracking), SharePoint (document management, attachment storage), Teams (collaboration, notifications), OneDrive. Single-sign-on through Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Outlook · SharePoint · Teams
- Document & attachment storage
- Entra ID SSO & security

D365 ↔ Third-Party
Dynamics 365 ↔ Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, NetSuite, Shopify, WooCommerce, Stripe, Square, ServiceM8, Simpro, Deputy. The integrations Microsoft Partners often hand off and the third-party connectors do badly — done properly.

A Dynamics 365 integration project, end to end
Three stages. Built as a managed solution from sprint one. Promoted DEV → UAT → PROD through pipelines. Survives Microsoft's monthly updates. Delivered personally by the founder.

Week 0
Dynamics 365 Audit
15-minute scoping call. We map which D365 apps you run (Sales, BC, CS, FO), customisations, current integrations, ALM maturity (DEV → UAT → PROD setup), Power Platform footprint, and tenancy/data-sovereignty constraints. Fixed-price quote inside 48 hours.

Weeks 1–N
Build & Solution-Package
Two-week sprints with weekly demos. Built as a managed solution from day one so updates promote cleanly through DEV → UAT → PROD. Tested against D365 sandbox; integration with target systems built against their sandboxes too. Update-safe — designed to survive monthly Microsoft releases.

Cutover
Production Import
Managed solution imported to production on a planned window. Monitoring + alerting active. Reconciliation report (records-in-D365 vs records-in-target) reviewed before sign-off. 30 days post-launch support included.
Before you book the scoping call
How much does a Dynamics 365 integration cost?
Fixed-price after a 15-minute scoping call and a short discovery session. A focused two-system integration (D365 Sales ↔ Xero, or D365 BC ↔ Shopify) typically takes 3–6 weeks. A multi-system enterprise integration with Power Platform, custom plugins, solution-packaged ALM and 5+ external connections takes 6–14 weeks. You know the price before any code is written.
How long does it take to build?
Simple D365 ↔ Xero or MYOB sync: 3–5 weeks. Standard D365 + accounting + e-commerce three-way sync with proper solution packaging: 5–10 weeks. Multi-system enterprise integration (D365 + Power Platform + third-parties + custom plugins): 10–20 weeks. Sprint demos every two weeks against real data.
Which D365 app are you talking about — Sales, Business Central, Customer Service, Finance & Operations?
All of them. We work across Dynamics 365 Sales (CRM/Customer Engagement), Business Central (the SMB-to-mid-market ERP, formerly NAV), Customer Service, Field Service, and Finance & Operations (the enterprise ERP, formerly AX). Most AU SMB engagements involve Sales + BC, sometimes with Customer Service for support flows. The scoping call confirms which apps are in scope.
How is this different from Power Automate, Logic Apps or a Microsoft Partner?
Power Automate and Logic Apps are great for low-volume, low-complexity integrations — we use them where they fit, and recommend them honestly. Custom code is right when (a) you need throughput Power Automate struggles with (per-day action limits, premium connector costs), (b) you need complex workflow logic that gets unmaintainable in a flow, (c) you want one ALM-friendly codebase for the integration rather than 12 hand-edited flows, or (d) you're paying a Microsoft Partner hourly agency rates and the bill never seems to end.
Solution packaging and ALM — how do you handle Microsoft's update cycle?
Every customisation we ship is in a managed solution, deployed via DEV → UAT → PROD promotion through Microsoft Power Platform pipelines (or Azure DevOps). Integration code lives in source control. We test against the Microsoft "earliest" / "next release" channel where the issue matters so monthly updates don't break production. Custom plugins are unit-tested and properly registered through the SDK.
What about multi-tenant Australian subsidiaries with overseas parents?
Common AU pattern — and a place to be careful. We handle data residency (deploying integration runtime to Australia regions in Azure / AWS), per-business-unit security roles in D365, separate Dataverse environments where the governance requires it, and reverse-proxy patterns where the AU subsidiary needs to read parent data without exposing the parent's tenant. The scoping call surfaces these requirements early.
Can you do Dynamics 365 ↔ Xero / MYOB / NetSuite?
Yes — and this is often where Microsoft Partners hand off because it sits outside their core. D365 Sales ↔ Xero (CRM-to-accounting), D365 BC ↔ MYOB (rare but happens during BC migrations), D365 BC ↔ NetSuite (multi-entity AU/NZ + global parent), D365 Sales ↔ NetSuite. We build these in-project rather than relying on the patchy ISV connectors.
Do we own the code and the solution?
Yes. Source code (plugins, custom workflow activities, integration runtime), the managed solution ZIPs, deployment scripts, Power Automate / Logic Apps definitions exported — all yours in your GitHub or Azure DevOps from day one. No per-user integration SaaS subscription to us. Hosting / runtime is yours.
