-
Xero & MYOB to CRM
Customer records, invoices and payment status flowing between your accounting platform and your CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive). Sales team sees invoice status; accounts team sees deal stage. No double entry.
- Xero & MYOB to HubSpot / Salesforce
- Invoice & payment status sync
- Contact deduplication rules
-
Bank Rec & Bank Feeds
Rules-based bank reconciliation that runs automatically inside Xero or MYOB. Coded by supplier, amount range or reference pattern. Bank feed events trigger downstream actions — AP notifications, cash-position updates, approval queues.
- Auto-coding rules by supplier & amount
- Bank feed event triggers
- Exception alerts to AP team
-
Month-End Automation
Scheduled accruals, prepayment amortisation, intercompany eliminations and cut-off journals run automatically at period end. Month-end drops from five days to same-day for most AU SMBs we work with.
- Accruals & prepayment schedules
- Intercompany elimination journals
- Cut-off & period-lock rules
-
Chart of Accounts Mapping
Normalise chart of accounts across Xero orgs, MYOB company files or a mix of both. Consolidation reports pull from all entities with consistent account codes, tracking categories and cost centres mapped end to end.
- Multi-entity COA normalisation
- Consolidated P&L & balance sheet
- Tracking category mapping
-
AP Invoice Capture
Supplier invoices captured via OCR or AI-powered tools (Dext, Hubdoc, Rossum) and coded directly into Xero or MYOB with correct account codes, GST treatment and approval workflow before posting.
- Dext / Hubdoc / Rossum integration
- AI coding with approval queue
- GST & tax code validation
-
eCommerce & Ops Accounting
Sales orders, inventory costs and fulfilment fees from Shopify, WooCommerce or a job-management platform (ServiceM8, Simpro, Tradify) flowing into Xero or MYOB with correct tax codes and tracking categories.
- Shopify / WooCommerce to Xero & MYOB

Before you book the scoping call
How long does accounting integration typically take?
A focused two-system connection — Xero to CRM, or MYOB to eCommerce — typically runs 2 to 4 weeks. Month-end automation with multi-entity consolidation or bank rec rule sets runs 4 to 8 weeks. Multi-entity COA mapping and reporting hub projects typically run 6 to 12 weeks. Fixed-price after the scoping call.
Can you connect both Xero and MYOB at the same time?
Yes. A number of our clients run Xero at group level and MYOB AccountRight in operating entities (or vice versa). We build the integration layer that sits between them — normalising chart of accounts, mapping tracking categories and consolidating reporting. Each platform keeps its own data model; the integration translates between them.
What is chart of accounts mapping and why does it matter?
When a business has multiple entities each using their own account codes, consolidated reporting is impossible without a mapping layer. We build a canonical chart of accounts that every entity maps to — so your consolidated P&L and balance sheet pull from all entities correctly, with intercompany eliminations applied automatically. Mid-market clients with 3 to 20 entities see the biggest gain.
How does bank reconciliation automation work in Xero and MYOB?
We configure rules within Xero or MYOB (and extend them via the API where the native rule engine is too limited) to automatically code and reconcile bank transactions by supplier name, reference pattern, amount range or account type. Transactions that do not match a rule are flagged for human review rather than sitting unreconciled. Most clients see 80 to 95 percent of transactions auto-coded.
Can you automate month-end close for a multi-entity group?
Yes — this is one of the most common engagements we run. We automate accruals, prepayment amortisation, intercompany eliminations and period-lock journals across all entities. Reconciliation reports run automatically and flag exceptions before the controller reviews them. Groups that were taking 5 business days to close typically reach same-day or next-day close after the automation is in place.
What accounting practice workflow tools do you integrate with?
We work with Xero Practice Manager (XPM), IgnitionApp, FYI Docs, Karbon, and custom practice management tools. Common workflows: auto-create Xero jobs when a client engagement is signed in Ignition; sync client contact records between Xero, XPM and the firm CRM; trigger month-end checklists when client Xero orgs close their period. If your practice tool has an API, we can connect it.
Will our bookkeeper and accountant need to change the way they work?
Minimal change for existing workflows is a design constraint we hold throughout the build. The goal is to eliminate the manual steps that are not valuable — data entry, copy-paste between systems, weekly CSV exports — while keeping the review and approval steps that your bookkeeper and accountant actually need to own. Most tell us their work gets easier within the first week of go-live.
Do we own the integration code?
Yes. Source code, API keys, webhook config, deployment scripts and monitoring config are all handed over in your own GitHub or Azure DevOps repository at the end of the project. No per-month integration SaaS fee to us. An optional month-to-month support agreement covers ongoing maintenance — never locked in. Hosting runs on your own AWS or Azure account.
